Bitcoin had fallen and was trying to take back a level it had recently lost. The agents set up a Sentinel: buy only if the price got back above that level and stayed there, a sign the buyers had returned. The position had no leverage, the simplest way to buy Bitcoin.
At first the bounce really happened, and the price came within a step of the target. Then it turned back, fell into the zone the agents had marked as dangerous and hit the stop, just below. The position stayed open thirty days, far longer than planned, and closed with a loss of 5.9% of the price.
Two lessons, both written by the agents themselves. The level to take back was never really taken back, and it was the first risk listed. And the position stayed open almost five times the planned time: when the price was near the target nothing protected that gain. Since then cards have a written maximum time.
Bitcoin is the coin everyone has heard of, but few know when it makes sense to buy it and when it does not. STA Super Trading Agents tells you with a card in plain words, with the levels written beforehand and the risk clear. And when it is wrong, as here, it shows you anyway.
This page tells the story of a closed card and is for information only. It is not investment advice and past results do not guarantee future ones. Trading crypto-assets involves a high level of risk, including the total loss of the capital invested.
